About me

My name is Marcin Mirończuk, and I hold a PhD in Computer Science. My areas of expertise include information systems, data analysis, text mining, and document processing. On this blog, I share professional insights, reflections on programming, software engineering, and artificial intelligence, as well as lessons learned from research and project work.

My professional background includes programming, software and database design, system implementation, requirements analysis, solution architecture, and the coordination of teams and projects. I combine a research-driven approach with hands-on engineering practice, which helps me turn complex technical challenges into practical, implementation-ready solutions aligned with organizational and business needs.

I graduated from Białystok University of Technology, where I earned my Master of Science in Engineering, and in 2013 I completed my PhD, developing tools for the structuring of domain-specific texts. I currently work at the National Information Processing Institute (OPI PIB)  AILab laboratory in Warsaw, where I focus on information systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and AI- and LLM-based solutions for data and text analysis and decision support.

Professional Experience

My experience spans both expert and conceptual work, including defining the direction of system development, preparing tasks for teams, and connecting technological perspectives with the needs of organizations and businesses. You can find more details about my professional background on my LinkedIn profile, my academic account on ResearchGate, and my ORCID profile, where my scientific publications are available.
